Mold inspections, testing, and analysis
Most people call us because something smells musty and they can't figure out why. We start with locating the moisture; that tells us where to look. Then we sample, send it to the lab, and give you a report you can hand to an insurer or a contractor.
Remediation with Results
We're not a franchise. We're not guessing. We're locals who treat your emergency like it's our own, and get it done right—the first time.
We document everything as we go—so your claim doesn’t stall and you don’t get stuck paying out of pocket.
how we work
Life is unpredictable. Our process isn't.
We start with your history. When did it start, and what did you smell? Can you think of a specific event?
Thermal imaging shows us where materials are running cold, which usually means they are wet. Then we confirm it with penetrating and non-penetrating moisture meters, so we know it’s water and not just a draft.
We collect air and surface samples and send them to an accredited lab for spore counts and species identification.
You get a written report with findings, lab data, and a recommendation on what to do next.
Somebody Always wants certainty
Sometimes you just want to know if your house is safe. Sometimes you need something in writing that a tenant, a buyer, or an insurance adjuster will accept. The testing is the same either way.

of residential buildings in the United States have mold.
Testing is how you find out whether yours is one of them, and how bad it is, before it becomes a repair bill.
If you can see mold and know where the water came from, remediation may be the faster path. Testing matters when the source is unclear, the mold is hidden, someone in the home is getting sick, or you need documentation for insurance, a landlord, or a real estate transaction.
An inspection is what we see and measure on site—visible growth, moisture readings, thermal patterns. A test is a physical sample sent to a lab for spore counts and species identification. Most jobs need both. The inspection tells us where to sample; the lab tells us what’s there.
Not for making decisions. Those kits grow whatever lands on the plate, and mold spores are in every building on earth—so they almost always show something. They can’t tell you concentration, location, or whether your indoor levels are higher than outdoors. That comparison is the whole point of a professional test.
The on-site visit usually takes one to two hours depending on the size of the property. Lab turnaround is typically two to three business days. We walk you through the report once it’s back.
It depends on the size of the property and how many samples are needed. We’ll quote you before we start.
No, we will not push you into remediation. If your levels are normal, that’s what the report says. We may still recommend an antimicrobial fogging if you want the extra reassurance, but it’s only a recommendation.
Yes! If you want a third party to verify work that has been done by another company, we are happy to do that.
